VACUFLO WARRANTY

********** CANADIAN DEALERS ASSOCIATION NATIONAL WARRANTY *********

1. LIFETIME plus 3 WARRANTY All permanently installed components of the VACUFLO Built-In Central Vacuum System are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home of original installation or until the system is removed from its original installation, whichever occurs first.

2. In the event of a defect in permanently installed components of the VACUFLO system, your local VACUFLO dealer should be contacted. We will repair or replace (at our option) any part or parts at your location at no labour cost for a period of three (3) years. Thereafter, repaired or replacement (at our option) part or parts will be provided to you for any items under warranty.

3. THREE YEAR TURBOTEAM DELUXE WARRANTY In the event of a manufacturer’s defect, we will repair or replace (at our option) any part for a period of three (3) years, at the local authorized Vacuflo dealer’s location. This does not include wearable parts such as belts and bearings or cleaning of items in the Turboteam kit.

4. ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON ACCESSORIES Within one (1) full year from date of purchase, should any of the optional accessories, including Remote Control Hose or Current Carrying Hose, Crushproof Electric Hose, Superhose or replaceable cord, or any air driven or electrical powerheads, cog belts and fluorescent bulbs fail to function due to faulty workmanship or material, we will replace or repair it (at our option), at the local authorized Vacuflo dealer’s location.. This does not include consumable items such as regular belts or incandescent light bulbs.

5. WARRANTY ON DUCTING SYSTEM For as long as you own your home, if any fitting and/or piping installed by us should ever clog or cease to function due to an imperfection in our labour, workmanship or materials, our choice of a repair or replacement will be installed.

6. WARRANTY ON INLET VALVES For as long as you own your home, should any of our plastic Vacuflo inlet valves cease to operate, return it to the local authorized Vacuflo dealer’s location, and we will replace or repair it (at our option).

7. LIFETIME WARRANTY ON DURACAN For as long as you own your system, should your Duracan Canister crack or break due to a manufacturer’s defect, return it to the local authorized Vacuflo dealer’s location, and we will replace it at no cost to you.

8. THREE YEAR SERVICE CALL We will clean and check permanently installed components in your system in your home three (3) years after the installation date at no cost to you. Please call us for your appointment.

9. FIVE YEAR SERVICE CALL We will clean and check permanently installed components in your system in your home five (5) years after the installation date at no cost to you. Please call us for your appointment.

10. ONE YEAR "110%" MONEY BACK WARRANTY Each system has a full one (1) year 110% buy back guarantee. This warranty is extended only to the person(s) or contractor whose name appears on the original invoice.

NOTE AND FAIR TREATMENT PROMISE
To validate any no-charge repair or replacement, simply present your original Bill of Sale (or a copy). These warranties give you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from Province to Province. They apply to all types of residential applications but not to commercial and industrial uses (for which separate warranties are available). They do not apply if your system is not installed and used according to our Homeowner’s Manual and Installation Guide, or if your system has been altered or damaged by service by non-authorized personnel, damaged by use with replacement parts not of our brand, or otherwise abused. The warranties are given by the distributor of the VACUFLO CANADIAN DEALERS ASSOCIATION only, and not to indirect, incidental or consequential damages, no matter how they arise, or to damages arising from negligence, all of which are expressly excluded. No other implied or express warranty is made. At all times you can buy our product with total confidence. You will always be treated fairly - and that’s a promise! This warranty, dated August 1, 2000, supercedes all previous warranties.

PRINTABLE VERSION

All permanently installed components (including the power unit, tubing, fittings and valves - if supplied by VACUFLO) are covered against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home where the equipment was originally installed. The "Plus 1" portion of the warranty covers replacement or repair of genuine VACUFLO permanently installed components in the home for one (1) year from the original purchase date at no labour cost to the consumer. Accessories supplied by VACUFLO and purchased with the power unit are also covered against defects in material and workmanship and should be replaced or repaired at no labour cost for three (3) years from the original consumer purchase date. Consumable items such as filter cartridges and light bulbs are not covered.

Accessory Warranty

Accessories covered by the three (3) year warranty are any genuine VACUFLO accessories (non-expendable parts) including hoses, wands, cleaning tools and power brushes that were purchased with the power unit and supplied by VACUFLO. Any accessories not sold with the power unit, are covered for one year from the date of purchase for repair or replacement. Consumable items such as light bulbs, belts and beater brushes are not covered by the warranty.

Registration

Prompt warranty registration of the VACUFLO system with VACUFLO is important to verify coverage for the original consumer purchaser, and to ensure the fastest and easiest warranty resolution. If in-home service credits are submitted for customers who have not registered with VACUFLO, proof of purchase (the original sales receipt) for that customer must be sent in with the Warranty Repair Form (HVS-913) before credit will be issued. Commercial Warranty

In non-residential applications, the VACUFLO Filtered Cyclonic power units are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, and accessories and turbine products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. The $40.00 warranty service credit is not available for systems installed in non-residential applications.
